Junior Business Applications Consultant (Ref: PTL-JBAC 09/14)

 

PTL is seeking to recruit a Junior Business Applications Consultant to join its team of Retail/ERP specialists in implementing and supporting various products and technologies at client sites.

THE POSITION

The Business Applications Consultant collects and analyses customer requirements through workshops, planning the process of mapping the gathered requirements onto systems and installing, setting up and configuring these systems.

THE REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate will be a graduate in Business and Computing or Information Systems (or a related discipline) with a can-do attitude and passion for technology. Knowledge of Windows operating systems and computer hardware would be considered an asset. Work experience is not essential as on-the-job training will be provided. Although the employment is based in Malta, overseas travel may be required from time to time. 

Besides being customer focused, the ideal applicant should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Hands-on technical aptitude, the ability to work in a dynamic team, and the motivation to deliver are key aspects to the role. A valid driving licence and own means of transport are essential.
